From time to time, Vaford is awarded special projects, as was the case with two iconic Apple stores in Chongqing.

The two projects, spanned over 28,000 sq ft, demanded exceptional workmanship, seemless management and faultless execution.

For the paradise walk store, Vaford installed the world’s first finless supporting curtain wall system for the largest laminated glass of 15m high.

In the following year, Vaford delivered the fit out works to this unique underground Apple Store Guotai as well as installation of an impressive 40 foot cylindrical glass structure entrance at street level which at the time, being the world’s largest curved laminated glass in accompanying a glass spiral staircase leading down to one side of the main shopping area.
